Record Late-October Dew Point
Temperatures in Southern Minnesota

Dew point temperatures throughout the southern one half of Minnesota reached into the mid to upper 60's on October 29. At 11:00 AM, the dew point temperature at the Twin Cities International Airport was 66 degrees, the highest dew point temperature ever recorded in the Twin Cities on October 29. The previous record was 64 degrees, set in 1946. In the modern record, the dew point temperature has never before exceeded 64 degrees this late in the calendar year in the Twin Cities. The record high dew point temperature in the month of October for the Twin Cities is 70 degrees, set October 14, 1962.
