Snowfall
January 14-15 2007

A southwest upper level low pressure brought another swath of snow across southern Minnesota northward to the Twin Cities Metro area on January 14-15. Some of the higher snowfall totals were in the southern Twin Cities Metro area with eight inches at Burnsville. The snow totals tapered off farther north to 4.2 inches at the Twin Cities International Airport, 3.9 inches in Maplewood, and only 1.3 inches in North Branch. With the colder temperatures that followed, this was the first snow of the season in the Twin Cities to linger longer than four days.

Listed below are snowfall totals courtesy the National Weather Service.
