Storm Brings High Winds, Heavy Rain to Minnesota. April 6-7, 2001

A massive storm moving through the Minnesota on April 6 and 7 brought heavy rains and damaging winds. The strongest winds were over southeast Minnesota. Many places in the state received over one inch of rain. Some places in west central Minnesota and the Arrowhead received over two inches of rain. The WSI radar-based precipitation estimate - April 2-9 shows the aerial coverage of this large storm.
