Heavy Rains Fall on Twin Cities - July 22, 1997

Heavy rains doused the Twin Cities during the morning hours of Tuesday, July 22. This was the third significant rainfall event in the month of July. Rainfall amounts ranged from one to five inches. The deluge fell upon already saturated ground leading to numerous reports of wet basements, street flooding, and other difficulties.
