A NEW RECORD HAS BEEN SET FOR AUGUST MONTHLY RAINFALL IN THE
TWIN CITIES. THROUGH MIDNIGHT AUGUST 28 2007...9.32 INCHES
OF RAIN HAS FALLEN SO FAR AT THE MINNEAPOLIS/ST PAUL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

THE OLD RECORD FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST WAS 9.31 INCHES SET BACK
IN AUGUST OF 1977. SO FAR THIS MONTH...MINNEAPOLIS/ST PAUL
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IS 5.62 INCHES ABOVE THE NORMAL AUGUST
MONTHLY RAINFALL TOTAL OF 3.70 INCHES.
