Streak of Under 40 Degree High Temperatures in the Twin Cities

The Chanhassen National Weather Service issued a statement about the recent streak of maximum temperatures below 40 degrees. The statement is posted below.

THE STRING OF CONSECUTIVE HIGH TEMPERATURES AT THE MINNEAPOLIS 
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT...UNDER 40 DEGREES...WHICH RAN FROM THE 29TH
OF DECEMBER...TO THE 17TH OF FEBRUARY (51 DAYS), ONLY RANKS 39TH
ON THE ALL TIME LIST FOR THIS OCCURRENCE. THE FOLLOWING LIST HIGHLIGHTS
